Local businesses sponsoring free admission for Lowell students to Varsity Basketball games

The Girls and Boys Varsity Basketball Teams are having winning seasons and we want to pack the stands! Local businesses are sponsoring free student admission in an effort to boost connection outside of the classroom. An athletic event is a safe and supervised place for teenagers to come together. It allows schools to focus on the aspect of school pride, supporting classmates and staying connected to each other. Since COVID, teens continue to experience challenges with connecting outside of school that doesn't involve their phones or social media. By removing ticket admission for students, this changes culture and the school is giving the green light for students to support each other.

Lowell Basketball Does!

The Varsity Girls Basketball team was selected as one of the 2022 Fall Chocolate Milk: Nature's Sports Drink winners and was awarded a $1,000 grant. Funds will be spent on low-fat chocolate milk that will provide the team high-quality protein, carbs and electrolytes to refuel tired muscles after tough training sessions and games.
